"News" is an interview application for audio information. It is inspired by the ios apple flat design with illustrations to illustrate the information blocks. Visually the background has an electric blue color as a mission to make the blocks stand out. There are very few graphic elements, the objective, to make the application easy to use without distracting the user or losing it.

It adopts an innovative indicator design—the light strip and shows the electricity in a unique way: red indicates dissipating power and blue indicates available power in the battery. As the power changes, the light shines wholly in a gradual changing color which shows vividly the power in a beautiful way. Also, a small light on the bottom will light up when rotating the plug, this is convenient when plugging it in the dark. With a minimalist look, it blends with surroundings well in daily life.

The app uses a variety of personal health widgets to track user progress and suggest helpful, personalized tips. The apps social widgets promote users to meetup and build meaningful friendships and habits offline. The widgets include a local event calendar, routine builder, chat with a professional, and a personal progress tracker.

Human and lifestyle illustrations are seen throughout the app to incentivize users to participant in activities that help their overall well-being. The colors selected were intentionally picked for a wholesome, human, vibe. Lastly, Joyster is meant to be simple and effortless, so a clean and straight-forward aesthetic was also implemented.

Sestetto is a multi-channel audio system to play individual instrument tracks in separate loudspeakers of different technologies and materials dedicated to the specific sound case, among pure concrete, resonating wooden soundboards and ceramic horns. The mixing of tracks and parts comes back to be physically in the place of listening, like in a real concert. Sestetto is the chamber orchestra of the recorded music. Sestetto is directly self-produced by its designers Stefano Ivan Scarascia and Francesco Shyam Zonca.
Continue readingWith the decrease in the global agricultural population, labor saving is needed for harvest work. To meet this need, the design team gave its automatic harvesting robot aimed for a display that workers would easily accept as the face of a robot they could work alongside. The robot's eyes meet people's eyes from any angle, which imparts a sense of security. The soft, fully-tapered surface reduces the feeling of intimidation and the kind feel of the pearl-like finish generates affinity with the arm robot. For hygiene, the top surface is free of places where dirt can accumulate.
